Polo Life Insurance was founded by Grant Mayer in 2006.  Grant played Polo at the University of Virgina and has competed in some of the most prestigious Polo tournaments in the world including the US Polo Open, Palm Beach. After seeing numerous devastating accidents through the course of his life, on and off the field, Grant felt it was necessary to form an organization that specialized in protecting families assets and quality of life in case of death or a debilitating accident.

Polo Life Insurance donates 10% of profits to the Polo Players Support Group, and Polo Training Foundation.  The Polo Players Support Group provides financial assistance to seriously injured or ill polo players and grooms.  Due to the dangerous nature of Polo financial assistance is often necessary in helping the families of injured or fallen players.   Polo Life Insurance protects these families and provides financial assistance for those in need.
